Description:
The acquisition procedure organized by the Contracting Authority has as its object the acquisition
a) OSIM purchased in 2012 a Fortigate 800C firewall hardware equipment and the FortiAnalyzer 300D network log and event analysis equipment. This solution works in OSIM and pit allows the detection and blocking of intrusions and computer attacks from outside and inside, monitoring/annihilation and reporting of cyber security incidents.
During 2021 OSIM was notified by the manufacturer that from September 1, 2021, respectively from 01.17.2021 the last1 year of life and support for both main components of the existing system. The continued use of this system under these conditions involves major risks regarding the security of the entire S.I. of OSIM. Nowadays, cyber attacks are multiplying and becoming more and more complex, and acemore destructive. Even if the existing system can work even after January 2022, the lack of support and software updates from the manufacturer generates a major security risk by exposing and making OSIM vulnerable to computer attacks.
b) Portable computers - laptop sunt necessary to ensure the possibility of continuing the activity of the OSIM staff under the conditions in which teleworking is expanding.
