- The purchase is necessary and opportune to endow the investment objective "Institute for advanced environmental research", so as to ensure the research infrastructure at high standards and to achieve the objectives set out in the project with non-refundable funding and contributionof the purchaser, as follows:
• The purchase of at least 14 Research and Development equipment of over 100,000 euros (VAT included)
• The purchase of at least 150 Research and Development equipment
These are intended to equip the laboratories provided for in the project with a minimum area of 2500 square meters and will be utinvolved in the research activity, in the first stage, of at least 20 new researchers and 10 researchers transferred from the Western University of Timișoara.
In this procedure, the contracting authority intends to conclude contracts for laboratory equipment worth an estimatedamounting to 841,900 lei without VAT, with the possible saving being used for the purchase of equipment and software respectively in the second stage in a new procurement procedure. In order to ensure a wide participation, including equipment manufacturers, it was decided todividing into 9 lots.
