- Implementation of a digital monitoring and forecasting system to identify water losses of the drinking water supply system in the municipality of Sfantu Gheorghe - Lot no. 1 Procurement and installation of digital water meters
The project aims to purchase cold water meters, equippedwith communication modules for the remote reading of these meters, using a communication protocol to ensure the collection of this data through a fixed network, which eliminates the need for a human operator to travel to retrieve the consumption index or to read the generated alarmsby the communication module. A total of 3,000 pieces of digital water meters will be installed at users that will allow remote reading of water consumption (all supplied meters will be installed). These digital meters will be fitted in existing junction boxes by replacementthe old meter and some ancillary facilities. The following fittings will be mandatorily changed within the branch pipes:
- Water meter;
- The faucet and related fittings upstream of the meter.
In the case of the Y-type impurity filter, with diameters between DN15 and DN32, they will be keptit is the existing filters and if filter Y is not installed, then no new filter will be installed. In the case of diameters larger than DN40 inclusive, a new impurity filter will be installed regardless of whether it is an existing filter or not
