Description:
The purchase of wooden sleepers for the railway is necessary to ensure the material base in the maintenance/repair works of the track, works carried out for the purpose of maintaining it in the instructional tolerances regarding the gauge, position in plan/level, stability so thatthe movement of the trains should proceed with the designed speeds.
Since the inadequate existing sleepers in the track, which exceed the maximum percentage allowed by the specialized instructions, can affect the safety of railway traffic, it is necessary to adopt measures to replace them. Through placeswithin the framework of the maintenance and repair works, an improvement of the technical condition of the road will be obtained, simultaneously with the increase of the degree of traffic safety and the increase of the regularity of the railway traffic, by eliminating some situations that can lead to the interruption/restrictioncirculation, under the conditions of reducing operating costs.
Any interested economic operator has the right to request additional clarifications/information in relation to the award documentation up to the 22nd day before the deadline for submitting offers.
The contracting entity will rarespond clearly and completely to all requests for clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation on the 12th day before the deadline for submission of offers. The contracting entity will not respond to clarification requests sent after the established deadline.
