- The General Inspectorate for Immigration (I.G.I.) as project promoter, together with the General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF), the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR), the Police Academy (AP), the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and National Agency Against Traffickingof Persons (ANITP) implements the project PDP1 - "Improving the national system of Asylum and Migration", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
One of the objectives of the project involves the information and awareness of the general population and risk groups regarding the consequencehuman trafficking. In order to achieve this objective, three campaigns to prevent human trafficking will be implemented, which will take place both online and outdoors. The campaign's anti-trafficking messages will be addressed especially to migrants from Romaniaand risk/vulnerable groups, but also the population as a whole, with the aim of informing, sensitizing and raising awareness of the public opinion regarding the implications of human trafficking, in the main forms of manifestation of the phenomenon - sexual exploitation, through forced labor and by forcing lof begging. Thus, the following will be implemented:
-A campaign to prevent human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation;
-A campaign to prevent human trafficking for the purpose of labor exploitation;
-A campaign to prevent human trafficking for the purpose of exploitation by begging.
