The local public transport service for people through regular trips is a component of the local public transport services, which in turn are part of the community services of public utility.
This service includes all actions and activities of public utilityand of general economic and social interest carried out at the level of the territorial administrative unit, under the control and coordination of local public administration authorities, in order to ensure local public transport of people.
By delegating the management of the local public transport serviceof people through regular buses, the aim is to create a local public transport system for people within the administrative-territorial radius, which ensures the movement of travelers in safe conditions of road and pedestrian traffic, comfort, regularity, continuity and qualityte of the service.
For the management of the public passenger transport service in Prahova county, UAT-PRAHOVA COUNTY organizes the activity of public road passenger transport through the award procedure.
