Description:
The Municipality of Timișoara ("MT") intends to carry out a public-private partnership ("PPP") project in order to finance, design, build, equip and maintain a greenfield municipal hospital of approximately 300 beds, in the Municipality of Timișoara ("the Project"). In view of organizing the selection process of a private partner, MT appointed the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, as the main consultant. The Project's specialized consultants are Pinsent Masons LLP (Great Britain), Țuca Zbarcea&Asociatiții (Romania), Concept Realization (UK, UAE) and Archus (UK). Through this announcement, MT invites all interested parties with experience in the design, financing, construction, equipment and maintenance of hospitals to submit, by November 30, 2025, a letter of interest non-binding regarding potential interest in the Project, at the contact details below. Following the launch of the Project by organizing a public and transparent award procedure, with international participation, carried out in accordance with the Romanian PPP legislation, MT will select the winning bidder and will conclude the PPP contract for a relatively long term (approx. 20 years).
