- In order to create a framework through which CNTEE Transelectrica SA complies with the requirements of European and national legislation regarding the activity of planning protections and automations in RET and RED 110 kV, it is mandatory to purchase an off-line program to carry out the off-line calculation ofl short-circuit currents, checking protection settings, determining system equivalents and simulating failure scenarios in electrical networks.
Purchasing the off-line Program will lead to optimization of the time for the processes regarding the calculation of short-circuit currentsuit, the appropriate parametrization of the protections at the voltage levels of 400 kV, 220 kV, 110 kV and medium voltage, the sensitivity studies of the protections when connecting the new consumers/producers, the verification of the primary equipment, of the earth plugs in the power stations at currents of sshort circuit from the point of view of dynamic and thermal limit currents, of the section of short-circuit breakers for the creation of the work area, as well as the calculation of equivalents of the Romanian energy system in various operating regimes for informing the neighbors in order to calculate, checkof the settings of the protection systems related to the interconnection lines and their adjacent lines.
