Description: Currently, the city of Seini does not have an integrated system for bicycles renting as an alternative to transport with its own car and to ensure the intermodity with the future public transport. The necessity and opportunity of the investment results from the modal share of only 1% of bicycle travel, contrasting with the availability of citizens to switch to bicycle, as measures would be implemented to increase the attractiveness, accessibility, comfort and safety of these trips. The provision of high -performance bicycles, as well as the implementation of measures that will lead to the promotion of intermodality, especially between bicycle and public transport are both necessary and timely, in order to achieve the objectives proposed by the contracting authority.
