In order to fulfill the general objective of the project, the Clinical Hospital for Infectious and Tropical Diseases "Dr. VictorBabes", proposed medical equipment/protective/sanitary materials necessary for the care and treatment of cases of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The emergency provision of protective equipment and sanitary materials to the medical staff was a mandatory measure that had to be taken, in order toavoid or limit as much as possible the illness of the medical staff, which would have inevitably led to a very high pressure on the medical system.
