- A large number of stations are equipped with electrodynamic centralization installations (CED), older than 25 years. Old type power supply equipment, consisting of rectifiers equipped with magnetic amplifiers, electronic components that are no longer manufactured and coelectromagnetic contactors, present a series of disadvantages and deficiencies:
οthey are worn out physically and morally, having far exceeded the normal operating life of 20 years, being in operation for 25 - 45 years;
οinvolves high maintenance and electricity costs, having a low yield in comprectifiers made with modern electronic components;
οno spare parts are found anymore (the germanium transistors and contactors used are no longer manufactured);
οdoes not provide the necessary voltage stabilization for the new accumulator batteries installed in CED installations andautomatic signaling - BAT, which may cause a reduction in their operating life.
Replacing the old rectifiers in the CED installations with others with higher performance will lead to the removal of the listed shortcomings, reducing the number of disturbances, reducing the maintenance effort andimplicitly a reduction in operating costs due to the economy of electricity.
The minimum and maximum quantities estimated during the framework agreement are presented in Annex 2 to the specifications no. 3/1470/2022.
