- The redevelopment of the basic exhibitions of the Satu Mare County Museum includes the creation of new exhibitions, respectively the adaptation of the existing ones to the requirements of the 21st century public based on the themes drawn up by the museum's specialists. Basic exhibits are the main means of presenting the actactivities carried out by the Satu Mare County Museum, a public cultural institution, "which collects, preserves, researches, restores, communicates and exhibits, for the purpose of knowledge, education and recreation, material and spiritual testimonies of the existence and evolution of human communities, as well as ofthe environment, primarily from the territory of Satu Mare county, but also from the neighboring regions, both from the country and from the neighboring states" (art. 1 of the MJSM ROF). The exhibitions will be rearranged in the institution's headquarters, the monument building, thus preserving the morphological configurationexisting structure (structural elements and load-bearing masonry, position of gaps). The creation of a new museum space, modern and balanced in information, accessible to all categories of visitors: from specialists to the general public of different ages and with different levels of education will be pursueducație.
