Elaboration of a study, by aspecialized entity that has the capacity to carry out a study regarding the comprehensive evaluation of the potential of efficient heating and cooling in Romania and the evaluation of the support scheme for the promotion of high-efficiency cogeneration valid for the period 2021-2033, in order to fulfillthe obligation to notify the COM of the updated comprehensive evaluation of the effective heating and cooling potential pursuant to Article 14 para. (1) and of Annex VIII of Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency and the obligation to develop the Plan for the evaluation of the support scheme fordemolition of high-efficiency cogeneration, in accordance with theses 41, 459, 460 of Communication COM C(2022) 481 final - 2022 Guidelines on state aid for climate, environmental protection and energy and chapter 2.2.7 of Decision COM C(2021 ) 9774 final from December 20, 2021.
This studyu also has the purpose of collecting new data in order to update the potential of efficient heating and cooling, as well as the exchange of best practices in this sector that will lead to technological neutrality, in accordance with the new policies, both at national and European level.
