Description:
The activities within the works contract "Rehabilitation and expansion of the sewage treatment plants in the Suceava agglomeration" include design, execution of works and technical assistance from the designer in accordance with the requirements of the Specifications, and are grouped into two lots as follows:
LOT 1 Rehabilitation of the Suceava sewage treatment plant:
Completion of the existing Suceava sewage treatment plant. The process that takes place in the Suceava WWTP is a biological purification process with nitrification-denitrification and an anaerobic process to reduce phosphorus. Excess primary and biological sludge is thickenedand stabilized anaerobically in a fermentation tank. The resulting fermented sludge is dehydrated, treated with lime and stored. The resulting biogas is used for heating. The treatment plant will receive waste water from the Suceava agglomeration. The emissary is the river Suceava. From the point of view of processes, the project proposes the implementation of adaptation works of the purification processes and replacement of existing equipment corresponding to the actual characteristics/loads of the influent. The equivalent population of the Suceava sewage treatment plant is 140,000 L.E.
LOT 2 Extension of the sewage treatment plante Salcea:
The main requirement for the sewage treatment plant of the city of Salcea is to maintain the existing plant in operation and to expand the existing treatment capacity by building new treatment lines. The capacity of the new treatment line will correspond to an equivalent population...
