- The energy analysis of the Portile de Fier I, Cetate, Calafat, Halanga and Portile de Fier II - GogoΕu area highlighted the need to change the solution for the evacuation of the energy produced in the Portile de Fier II CHP to S.E.N. by building a new 220 kV connection station near the Portile CHE stationde Fier II, connected through a 220 kV d.c. LEA. (double circuit) new, at LEA 220 kV d.c. existing Portile de Fier I Citadel (circuit 1). As a result, this investment was included in the development plan of C.N.T.E.E. Transelectrica S.A. from the period 2020-2029. This presupposes the realization of unew 220/110 kV substations, in accordance with the requirements of CNTEE Transelectrica SA regarding primary and secondary installations. The 220kV Ostrovu Mare station will be located in Mehedinti county, next to the existing 110/20/6 kV Ostrovu Mare station belonging to SC Hidroelectrica SA, which is located in the immediate vicinity ofechinacea of ββCHE Portile de Iron II. The land for the new 220 kV station is owned by C.N.T.E.E. Translectrica S.A.
The scheme of the 220 kV station will be with a single busbar sectioned by a longitudinal coupler with a switch, to which the following cells will be connected:
- 2 line cells (L.E.A.220 kV Portile de Fier 1 and L.E.A. 220 kV Cetate circuit 1);
- 2 autotransformer cells of 200 MVA, 220 kV, AT1 and AT2;
- 1 longitudinal coupler cell 220 kV;
- 2 measurement cells on bars 220 kV, CM1A and CM1B;
