- A configuration of network switch equipment is required to update the structure and parameters of OSIM's internal data network, respecting the constraints of physical arrangement in the existing cabinets, according to the following specifications.
Ethernet switch network will be formedfrom equipment distributed to various horizontal distribution points (to sockets on floors) located in standard IT metal cabinets for 19" network equipment in which there are suitable cabling patch panels.
The required equipment will basically be two types/categoryrii, distribution switches to ports workstations and servers, RJ-45 copper connections, at 1Gbps or 10Gbps, respectively switches with the role of central concentrator that connect the distribution switches in a star configuration.
Central network switches will only connect othersswitches and stacks of distribution switches, through optical fiber connections, and will be stacked with each other through 4 connections of at least 40Gbps with the creation of a virtual chassis type configuration.
For the uniformity and ease of network management and the implementation of administration tools, it is requested that all active network equipment and all their modules be proposed from a single manufacturer, chosen by the bidder. Offers that include configurations with active equipment from different distributors will not be accepted.
